This Privacy Policy explains how Remote Work Explorer collects, uses, and handles personal information when you visit RemoteWorkExplorer.com, request a free resource, subscribe to emails, or contact us.

Who We Are

Remote Work Explorer is operated by Nir, based in Israel.

Information We Collect

Information you provide

When you request a resource or subscribe, we collect your email address and any other information you choose to enter in the form.

If you contact us, we collect the information included in your message so we can respond.

Technical information

Our hosting and service providers may process information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, access times, and requested pages to operate and protect the website.

How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Deliver the resource you requested.
  • Send helpful follow-up emails, updates, and occasional relevant recommendations when you have subscribed to receive them.
  • Respond to questions and support requests.
  • Maintain website security and prevent spam or abuse.
  • Understand and improve our resources and communications.
  • Meet applicable legal obligations.

Providing your email address is voluntary. You can browse the website preview without subscribing, but we need your email address to send you a resource by email.

Email Preferences

Requesting a resource allows us to send its delivery email. Any subscription to ongoing emails will be explained on the signup form.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in those emails, or by contacting us.

Unsubscribing stops future marketing emails. We may retain a limited record of your unsubscribe request to prevent accidentally adding you back to the mailing list.

Service Providers and Sharing

We use service providers to support the website and deliver resources, including:

  • Hostinger: website hosting.
  • Kit: signup forms, subscriber management, and email delivery.
  • Google: embedded Google Sheets previews and access to the copyable resource.

These providers process information according to their roles and applicable terms. Their privacy policies are available here:

We do not sell or rent your email address.

We may disclose information where legally required or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Google Analytics and Website Measurement

We use Google Analytics 4, connected through Site Kit, to understand how visitors find and use our website and to improve its content and usability.

Google Analytics may process information such as pages viewed, interactions, referral sources, device and browser details, approximate location, and identifiers stored in cookies. We do not intentionally send your email address, name, or information entered in signup forms to Google Analytics.

We request consent before enabling optional analytics tracking. You can accept or reject analytics through our cookie controls and change your choice later through Cookie Settings.

We also use Google Search Console to understand our website’s performance in Google Search and PageSpeed Insights to assess website performance. These services do not add visitor-tracking cookies to our website through Site Kit.

Google may process information outside your country. For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy:

https://policies.google.com/privacy

Google Sheets and Your Copy

The website displays a Google Sheets preview. Loading this preview connects your browser to Google, which may process technical information under its own privacy policy.

Creating an editable copy requires a Google account. Your copy is stored in your Google Drive. Creating a copy does not automatically give us access to your edits, interest selections, or comparisons. Access depends on the sharing permissions you choose.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The website and embedded services may use cookies or similar technologies for functionality and security.

[Before publishing, specify any analytics, advertising, or other optional tracking tools actually enabled, their purposes, and how visitors can manage consent.

You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may affect embedded content or other features.

Legal Bases

Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on:

  • Your consent for subscribed marketing communications and optional tracking that requires consent.
  • Our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and maintaining a secure, functioning website, where those interests do not override your rights.
  • Compliance with applicable legal obligations.

You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that lawfully occurred before you withdrew it.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy.

Subscriber information is generally retained while you remain subscribed. After you unsubscribe, limited records may be retained to honour your preferences, document consent, or meet legal obligations.

We retain enquiries for as long as needed to respond and resolve related issues. Technical logs are retained according to our service providers’ settings and operational needs, including security and troubleshooting. We periodically review inactive subscriber records and remove information that is no longer needed, subject to legal obligations and the limited records required to honour unsubscribe requests.

International Processing

Our service providers may process information outside your country, including outside Israel. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we use the relevant safeguards provided through our service arrangements.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent.

To make a request, email nir@remoteworkexplorer.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect personal information. No website, email service, or method of online storage can guarantee complete security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our services or data practices change. The latest version will appear on this page with an updated date. Where required, we will provide additional notice of significant changes.
